apple orchard excitement
My class and I are going on our first field trip on Monday- the Apple Orchard! I am actually very excited. I love apples.... apple pie, apple juice, apple cider, apple cake, applesauce- anything apples! What a great way to spend a working day picking apples and having a picnic for a few hours. The kids and I are in the process of making our classroom drama center into a pretend apple orchard. They helped me make apples (crumpled up pieces of paper painted red). What a mess! It should get them excited for our fun trip ahead.
