Number Bean Bags

So I woke up pretty early this morning and decided to start working on these number bean bags. An hour and a half later I was finished! They turned out really cute! I found the tutorial on http://chezbeeperbebe.blogspot.com.

Ladybug Taggie Toy

Yay! After a long day of work, I came home and made some dinner, walked the dogs, and then plopped on the couch to rest. I have been working on a cute Ladybug Taggie Toy for a baby gift. I found the tutorial on Everyday Celebrations. It turned out super cute and it even has little bells inside the wings. I want to make another one! I think my taggies need to be a little short next time.

Speaking of wings... a goose hung out with my class while we played outside. The kids were so excited and wanted to scare it away. All I could think about was the time I went with my sister to her best friends house on the shore. I was about 4 or 5 years old. There was a mommy duck and all her baby ducklings swimming in the water. They dared me to catch one of the baby ducks. Of course I tried. Who would have thought I would actually catch the baby? I DID!! Well, that mom started quacking like crazy and flew right over me and smacked me as hard as she could with her wing. I dropped that duckling so fast and pouted for the rest of the day.

Camping Weekend

This past weekend, Chad and I went camping at Sherando Lake in Virginia with 5 other couples from school. Friday was FrEeZiNg and so WINDY! Brrrr.... I did not pack enough clothes. Saturday was beautiful outside. Not a cloud in the sky and the wind died down. The only problem was that we had absolutley no shade at our camp site. I now look like Rudolph. We had such a fun time though. Smores, hot dogs, games, campfires, and hikes. Lots of fun and good memories!

Spring Break!

Today is my last day of Spring Break. Tear. Well, at least I have the weekend still. Chad, the pups, and I are going camping with a group of our friends from Charlottesville. I am super excited and hope that the dogs behave and the weather stays nice (and not too chilly).
This past week, I had a great time visiting family and friends. I took my nephew to the farm, played outside with both of the boys, went out to many lunches and dinners to catch up with friends, and spent some time with my parents! It went by way too fast, but at least the summer will be here in only 2 months!! Wahoooooooo! Chad will be interning in New York City this summer and I will be living on the farm and tutoring a few days a week to make some extra money. I cannot wait!

Easter

Chad and I enjoyed our first Easter together as a married couple! We stayed in the little apartment house on the farm. The dogs had a blast swimming in the pond, catching toads, and playing with Sammy boy (the farm dog). We enjoyed catching up with family and friends. Chad and the pups headed back to Virginia on Easter night. I am now staying with my parents until Thursday early morning.
